Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the ELITE Housing Disrepair website and our claims introducer service. Please read them carefully before submitting an enquiry.
1. About us
ELITE Housing Disrepair is a claims introducer. We are not a firm of solicitors and we do not provide legal advice directly. We help council and housing association tenants across England and Wales understand whether they may have a housing disrepair claim and, where appropriate, introduce them to a panel of SRA-regulated solicitors who can act for them.
ELITE Housing Disrepair operates under ELITE Field Marketing Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company no. 16619026. Registered office: Unit 5, Albert Edward House, The Pavilions, Ashton-on-Ribble, Lancashire PR2 2YB. ICO registration ZC235634.
2. Using this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of its availability or accessibility, or in any way which is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or free from errors. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice specific to your situation.
3. Claims introducer service
When you submit a claim enquiry through our website or by phone, we assess whether your circumstances appear suitable for introduction to our panel of solicitors. If so, we pass your details to one or more panel firms who will contact you directly.
The decision to take your case on, and any solicitor-client relationship, is between you and the panel solicitor. Each panel firm is a separate business and is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Their own terms and privacy notice will apply once they agree to act for you.
We may receive a marketing or referral fee from the panel firm if your claim proceeds. This does not affect the advice you receive or the amount of compensation you are paid.
4. No Win, No Fee
Where a panel solicitor offers a Conditional Fee Agreement (often called No Win, No Fee), this means you pay nothing upfront and nothing if your claim is unsuccessful. If your claim succeeds, a success fee may be deducted from your compensation.
The exact success fee, any insurance premium, and any other deductions will be explained to you in writing by the panel solicitor before you sign any agreement. You should read and understand those terms before proceeding.
5. No solicitor-client relationship with us
Communicating with ELITE Housing Disrepair does not create a solicitor-client relationship. We cannot give legal advice, represent you in court, or guarantee the outcome of any claim. Any legal work is carried out by the panel solicitor you choose to instruct.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ELITE Housing Disrepair shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or our introducer service, except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence or fraud.
This does not affect any liability we cannot exclude or limit under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
